Avoiding problems in screens
Shear rate area of screens is about 10 000 – 500 000 1/. Increasing viscosity changes the flow of material in the screens, and if the viscosity increase is high enough it will block the screen.

Narrow particle size pigments have a difficult runnability profile in the screens, especially if their solids content is high. With the SLIT-option ACAV can analyze slurries whose viscosity can be as high as 30 000 mPas at shears up to 1 000 000 1/s.
